Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern services provided by Managed Generator Services, LLC, doing business as MGS Repairs ("MGS," "we," "us"), and bookings made through mgsrepairs.com. By booking service or reserving a package, you agree to these Terms.

Services & scope

MGS provides electrical repair and installation, appliance repair, and general home repair in Richmond, VA & neighboring states. Every job begins with a diagnosis and a written estimate. We perform only the work you approve; if the scope changes, we will obtain your approval before continuing.

Estimates & pricing

Prices posted on this site are starting figures for standard, accessible, code-compliant conditions. The final price is confirmed in writing after an on-site assessment. Parts, permits, and additional scope are itemized separately. Some published rates may change; the estimate you approve controls.

Payments

We accept card, ACH bank payment, and Apple Pay through our processor, Square. Cards may be authorized at booking and captured when work is scheduled or completed. Package deposits reserve your place and apply to the final invoice. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for cancellation and deposit terms.

Licensing, insurance & code

MGS is licensed, insured, and bonded. Electrical work is performed to applicable safety and code standards. Where a permit or inspection is required, we coordinate it as part of the applicable package or estimate.

Workmanship warranty

We warrant our workmanship against defects for the period stated on your invoice. If a repair fails due to our workmanship within that period, we will return to correct it at no additional labor charge. This warranty does not cover parts covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, misuse, further damage, pre-existing conditions outside the repaired scope, or work altered by others.

Access & safety

You agree to provide safe access to the work area and to disclose known hazards. For safety, we may decline or pause work that cannot be performed to code or that presents an unsafe condition until it is remedied.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MGS’s liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
